Mentoring

A good mentor can mean the difference between wasting a lot of time and energy down a wrong path and not only finding the right path for you, but being able to excel in that path.
How does it work?
Artemis facilitates this process by connecting young women like you with women who are professionals that have expressed interest in mentoring. Here are some general terms (although you can discuss with your potential mentors):
Approximately 1 hour meeting a week
Duration of mentorship can be 1-2 months (or longer if mutually agreed upon)
Mentorships are NOT a pre-cursor to a job, they are generally for information/guidance only
How do I get started?
Please specify as much as you can about the type of mentor you're looking for. This could mean a certain role/title in a specific company or it could be slightly broader, but your general path should be decided. When our mentor program gets started, we will do our best to find matches that fit, but ultimately you and the mentor must discuss whether it's a good fit or not. At this point we are gauging interest for this program on both the girls’ side and the mentor side. Thank you!
